I would like to share some findings and make a small contribution to the Freelancer community. I would not have been able to make this small contribution if it wasn't for the information that is so broadly shared on Lancers reactor. The quality of the tutorials and not to forget the people that built the tools and make them available to all of us.

Thus far I have been a singleplayer. While playing Freelancer I frequently thought: "why is this jumphole not showing up on my Navmap?", "why is this asteroid field not showing up?", "why is this object unknown?" and "why are some secrets not releasing the loot they should release?".

Because of the nature I consider my findings to be repairs or patches and not modifications, because in my opinion these patches should have been in the game from the start. This is also the reason why I'm not presenting this in a FLMM form.
None of the patches is related to another patch, every file stands on his own. Most of the changes come in efffect when you revisit the aera involved. Others will come only in effect when restarting the game as a new player.
I have no knowledge of how these patches will behave in a MP environment and I have not the illusion that I've covered everything.

The repairs/patches involved are:
* over 30 shipwrecks now deliver the correct loot, yes also the Paralyzer launchers
* over 70 asteroid fields and clouds now visible on Navmap
* 11 unknown objects now have their id
* 5 jumpholes now visible on Navmap

You will find documentation on every patch I've made and they are all in a excel sheet (fl sp patches rb.xls).
This packages gives everybody 3 options:
1.	obviously, to do nothing with this information
2.	to back up their original ini files that they want to replace, and copy the supplied .rb1 or .rb2 files to their respective directories and rename them with the proper extension: ini (li01.rb1 to li01.ini).
3.	use the documentation to make the patches in their own ini's.

Hopefully some of you may find this package helpful. If not, well, I have found a lot of pleasure in finding solutions and it learned me a lot about how things are linked within Freelancer. If you might have any question about the patches, just make a posting in the Lancers reactor edit forum under the keyword "Hobbes". Being a Wingcommander fan from the early nineties that seems a good alias to me.
